We develop and apply machine learning and statistical methods to quantitatively characterize autoimmunity.

Yakir is a rheumatologist and a computer scientist. He completed a BA in mathematics at Harvard College, a Fulbright Fellowship in probability theory at the Weizmann Institute of Science, a PhD in computer science at Harvard University, and an MD at Harvard Medical School. He completed residency in internal medicine and fellowship training in rheumatology at Brigham and Women's Hospital, where he currently sees patients as a practicing rheumatologist. Yakir likes playing the violin, hiking, reading fiction, and trying to explain complicated things to his kids.
